Illuminated signs: the products
Products marked “Price online” are priced in the configurator as you choose; the others are quoted on request.
Light boxes, illuminated letters and projecting signs
A light box shows your design on a face lit from inside. The 60 cm LED light box, round or square and double-sided, can be ordered online; outdoor light boxes with a clear acrylic front are available on request. Illuminated letters are 3D letters with LEDs – front-lit, halo-lit or both, 15 to 200 cm high. For lettering across a whole facade, letters, logo sign and installation are planned as one project.
A projecting sign, also called a blade sign, stands at right angles to the facade and is seen from both directions – as an Alu-Dibond sign or a light box on a steel bracket. For shops, cafés and windows there are LED neon-style signs, LED running text and digital signage screens, plus LED frames with a fabric print for indoors and outdoors. A pylon marks a driveway or forecourt.
What works indoors, what outdoors
The 60 cm light box, illuminated letters and lettering, the illuminated projecting sign and the outdoor LED running text are rated IP65 for outdoor use. The pylon has a steel frame with aluminium cladding, is calculated for wind load and can be lit with LEDs. Unlit profile letters give your name depth without any power – in acrylic or stainless steel also outside, in foam inside only; the laser-cut acrylic logo and the indoor LED frame are for interiors.
With light boxes and frames the design can be changed later: the panel of the outdoor light box and the fabric of the outdoor LED frame are sold on their own too.
What we need for a quote
Send us your logo as a vector file, such as PDF, AI or SVG, the size or letter height and a photo of the facade or window – for a pylon, a photo or site plan of the location. Tell us where the sign goes and where the nearest power socket is. For the 60 cm light box, one file printed on both faces is enough: vector, or an image with at least 300 dpi at 60 × 60 cm.
Delivery, installation and permits in Berlin
Collect the 60 cm light box at Lessingstraße 81, 13158 Berlin, or have it sent by courier in Berlin or by parcel in Germany. Installation in Berlin is quoted on request, once you have given the address, ladder access and the nearest power point. Illuminated facade lettering starts with an on-site survey, which carries a travel fee you learn before the appointment.
Larger illuminated signs outdoors may need a permit from the district office, and a projecting sign usually does. The drawings for your application are prepared if needed; for a pylon, the structural documents are part of the project.

Questions
Light box or illuminated letters?
A light box shows your logo on a lit face, its design can be changed later, and as a projecting sign it is seen from both directions. Illuminated letters stand individually on the facade and read as lettering – front-lit for maximum legibility or halo-lit for a floating effect; they are priced per letter by height and build.
What is a projecting sign?
A sign at right angles to the facade, in German also called Nasenschild or Ausleger. Passers-by see it from both directions, all along the street – unlit as an Alu-Dibond sign or illuminated as a light box, printed front and back, on a powder-coated steel bracket.
Do I need a permit for an illuminated sign?
Larger illuminated signs outdoors may need a permit from the district office, and a projecting sign usually does. Check this before you order; the drawings for your application are prepared if needed.
How is an illuminated sign connected?
The 60 cm light box needs a standard 230 V socket that its 1.2 m cable can reach – outdoors a weatherproof one; the cable and a European plug are included. LED frames run on mains power, with the LED driver supplied. For illuminated letters and lettering, the connection is planned as part of the project – tell us where the nearest power supply on the building is.
How much does an illuminated sign cost?
That depends on type and size – for illuminated letters on number, height and build – plus lighting, bracket or foundation and installation. The 60 cm LED light box shows its price online; every other illuminated sign is quoted for your exact project.
