Banners and fence banners: the products
Products marked “Price online” are priced in the configurator as you choose; the others are quoted on request.
PVC banners, mesh banners and construction fence banners
The PVC banner is the classic of outdoor advertising: a durable tarpaulin printed with UV-resistant inks, hemmed and fitted with eyelets, ready for a fence, facade or scaffold. The mesh banner is a perforated fabric that lets about 30 % of the air through – the usual choice for scaffold banners, site fences and large facades. Construction fence banners are made for the standard sizes of site fences, barrier fence banners for the mobile barriers at street festivals, markets and building sites.
For special jobs there is the facade banner, a long length of fabric for indoors and outdoors; the XL banner for exceptionally large surfaces; the blockout banner with a black layer that stops anything showing through; the backlit banner for light boxes; and the pole banner with a bracket for street lamps. Whether you need a tarpaulin printed or a whole facade dressed, we work out the right format with your request.
Which material for which use?
Outdoors and for longer use, the 510 g/m² PVC banner is the standard: it withstands rain, sun and frost for about 3 years outdoors. The heavy 680 g/m² material suits large formats and exposed positions, the light 440 g/m² material short promotions and interiors. Where wind hits the surface, choose mesh – 270 g/m² as the standard, 340 g/m² for very large surfaces and windy sites.
Indoors, on stage or at a trade fair, PVC gives the richer picture because there is no wind. If the banner hangs in front of a bright surface or against the light, the blockout banner holds the light back; the backlit banner is made for light boxes and is lit from behind. B1 fire rating is available for PVC banners on request.
Eyelets, pole pockets and fixing
The standard is one eyelet every 50 cm all round in the hemmed edge; closer spacing is possible. On request you can add reinforced corners, a pole pocket top and bottom, wind cuts or, on a mesh banner, a rope in the hem. Up to 3.2 m wide the banner is printed in one piece; above that the panels are high-frequency welded – up to 50 m long and 5 m high.
For a fixed display on a stone wall or sheet piling there is the aluminium tube banner frame – as a complete set, the frame only or the banner only, so you can change the design later. With the concealed banner frame, the frame and tensioners stay out of sight.
What to send us – and how the banner reaches you
For a quote we need the size, quantity, material and your design, ideally as a print-ready PDF at final size; keep text at least 5 cm from the edge, where the hem and eyelets sit. For a site fence, facade or scaffold, a photo of the location and the dimensions of the surface or the number of fence panels help.

Questions
How much does a banner cost?
The price depends on size, material, quantity and finishing such as hems, eyelets or pole pockets. For PVC and mesh banners the online price calculator shows the price as soon as you enter size and material; construction fence banners, facade banners, XL banners and banner frames are quoted on request.
PVC or mesh?
PVC when the design should look solid and strong – on a facade, fence, stage or indoors. Mesh when wind is involved – on scaffolding, site fences and large free-standing surfaces, because the perforation lets about 30 % of the air through.
What size is a construction fence banner?
Construction fence banners are made for the standard sizes of site fences; give us the dimensions of your fence and the number of panels with your request. For a different size, configure a mesh or PVC banner in your format in the online price calculator.
How many eyelets does a banner need?
The standard is one eyelet every 50 cm all round, which is enough for facades and fences; closer spacing is possible on request. If the banner is tensioned between two posts, secure the corner eyelets twice; reinforced corners are available as an option.
Will a banner stand up to wind and rain?
Yes – PVC material and UV inks withstand rain, sun and frost for about 3 years outdoors. In strong wind mesh is the better choice, and a PVC banner can also be given wind cuts; take a banner on a site fence down in a storm.
