Forex®

Forex® is the board most signs start with: light enough to hang on two strips, rigid enough to stay flat, and it takes a direct print with crisp colour. Shop signs, door signs, exhibition panels, price boards, backdrops.

How it works

  • Choose the thickness. 3 mm for indoor signs and panels, 5 mm where it hangs freely or gets handled, 10 mm for rigid displays and letters.
  • Type the size. Any format up to 300 cm wide — priced by the square metre, with the minimum per job ticket shown as you go.
  • Add what the sign needs. A shaped cut, milled letters, drill holes in the corners, a second printed side, a gloss coating.

For the buyer

Closed-cell PVC foam board, white, matt surface, direct UV print (4-colour, up to 1440 dpi). Indoor and sheltered outdoor use; in full weather it may bow in heat — choose Dibond for that. Cut to size; shaped cuts and milled letters on request.

Questions

Which thickness do I need?

3 mm for signs and panels that are fixed flat to a wall or door. 5 mm where the board hangs freely, is carried around or is larger than a metre. 10 mm for rigid displays, milled letters and anything that must not flex.

Can it go outdoors?

In a sheltered place, yes — under a roof, in a passage, on a covered wall. In full sun and rain PVC foam can bow over time; for that choose an aluminium composite board such as Dibond.

How do I mount it?

Small boards hang on adhesive strips or double-sided tape. Larger ones take screws through drill holes — add them when you order and we place them for you — or stand-offs.

Can you cut it to a shape?

Yes. Add the shaped cut and send us the outline in your file, or ask for milled letters and every letter comes as its own piece.

Why is there a minimum per job ticket?

Every ticket means a board on the machine and a cut, however small the sign. The minimum equals one square metre. If your board is smaller, the page tells you how many copies the minimum already covers — add them at no extra cost.
