Frosted glass film
Frosted privacy film in a sandblasted-glass look — strips and full panes cut to size, or your name and logo cut from the frost.
The elegant look of etched glass without replacing the glass. Frosted film hides the view and keeps the light — on office partitions, practice doors, shop windows and meeting rooms. Applied on the inside of the glass, it reads as sandblasted glass from both sides.
Two ways to order
- Plain panel or strip. Measure the glass, type width and height — a privacy strip at eye level, a full pane, a door light. Cut to size, priced by the square metre.
- Text or logo cut from the frost. Type your name and pick a typeface, or upload a vector logo; we cut it from the film and deliver it pre-spaced on application tape.
Want a logo left clear inside a frosted panel? Add the cut-out option and describe or upload it — we cut the shape out of the frost. Every job ticket has a minimum of one square metre; smaller pieces are billed the minimum and the page tells you how many copies it already covers.

Polymeric etch-effect film, 80 µm, permanent adhesive, light-diffusing, for interior application on glass; up to 8 years indoors. Roll width 152 cm — wider or taller pieces are cut in panels that join with a fine seam. Weeded and on application tape on request. Installation by our crew can be requested in step 2 and is quoted separately.

Questions
Does it block the light?
No — it diffuses the light while obscuring the view, so rooms stay bright. From both sides it looks like etched glass.
Which side of the glass does it go on?
The inside. Frosted film is an interior film; applied inside it is protected from weather and cleaning. Lettering cut from the frost is mirrored by us when you choose the inside, so it reads correctly from outside.
How do I measure?
Measure the glass edge to edge, in centimetres, and type the width and height. For a privacy strip, decide its height and where it sits; for a full pane, we cut it 2–3 mm smaller than the glass so it fits inside the frame.
Can my logo be left clear?
Yes. Order the panel with the cut-out option and send us the logo or describe the shape — we cut it out of the frost so the glass stays clear there. Or cut the logo itself from frost on clear glass.
Why is there a minimum per job ticket?
Every ticket means a roll on the plotter and finishing, however small the piece. The minimum equals one square metre. If your piece is smaller, the page shows how many copies the minimum already covers — add them at no extra cost.
Can you install it?
Yes. Choose “Professional installation” in step 2 and tell us about the glass. Your order goes through as it is; the installation is quoted separately afterwards.
