Are printed stickers weatherproof?
Yes — our die-cut stickers are printed on white or clear PVC film and finished with a clear protective laminate: 3–5 years outdoors, resistant to rain, UV light, scratches and the dishwasher. Weatherproof is not indestructible: on rough, dusty or curved surfaces and under pressure washers every sticker lasts less.
What the laminate does
- It sits as a clear layer over the print and keeps off UV light — the colours stay instead of bleaching in the sun.
- It protects against scratches, moisture and cleaning agents; that is why the stickers survive the dishwasher.
- Matt or gloss: matt does not reflect and looks refined, gloss makes colours stronger. Both are laminated; clear film shows the surface between the artwork.
Where stickers hold — and where not
Smooth, clean, dry surfaces: glass, painted metal, hard plastic, laminated furniture, vehicle paint. Difficult are rough walls, concrete, unpainted wood, silicone-rich plastics and anything dusty or greasy. On vehicles, stickers last longest on vertical surfaces.
The film has a permanent adhesive — it is meant to stay. For window promotions that should come off again, removable printed vinyl is the better choice.
Shape and size
Cut along your artwork (contour), as a circle, square or rectangle — from 2 × 2 to 30 × 30 cm per sticker, each one a single, cut right through.

Questions
Which file do I need?
PNG, JPG, PDF, AI or SVG. A PNG with a transparent background gives the cleanest outline; the cut line is traced automatically around the artwork — with a border of 2–6 mm or none — and shown in the preview. Professionals draw the cut line as a spot colour named CutContour.
Can stickers be larger than 30 cm?
Yes — then it is printed self-adhesive vinyl with a contour cut, up to 148 cm on the short side, for walls, windows and vehicles.
Do the stickers hold on bottles and packaging?
On smooth glass and hard plastic, yes. Strongly curved small bottles stress the edges; smaller stickers and pressing from the centre outwards help there.
White or transparent film?
White film for strong colours on any surface; transparent film when the surface should show through — light colours then look paler on dark surfaces.
How are stickers removed later?
Warm a corner (hair dryer), lift and pull slowly; adhesive residue comes off with silicone remover or spirit. On paint and glass this leaves nothing behind; on rough plastic some adhesive may stay.
